About Stockton Men’s Baseball

Men’s Baseball supports the University mission by providing significant components of the whole-person Stockton education. Stockton student-athletes perform both in the classroom and on the court. The student-athlete graduation rate is higher than that of non-athletes, with 75% having a GPA of at least 3.0. These players and teams represent the very best of Stockton.

2019-20 Highlights

  • Rich Gawlak was chosen as Stockton’s head baseball coach in December 2019. Gawlak took the helm of the Stockton program after 11 years as an assistant coach at The College of New Jersey, where he helped the Lions to five NCAA Tournament berths and three NJAC championships.
  • The Ospreys went 8-3 in their first year under Gawlak’s direction before the remainder of the season was canceled due to COVID-19. Stockton started the season with five consecutive wins.
  • Freshman Aaron Winsker was selected NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week twice and senior Mike DeSenzo was tabbed NJAC Player of the Week once during the abbreviated season.
