About Stockton Women’s Basketball

The Women’s Basketball program supports the University mission by providing significant components of the whole-person Stockton education. Stockton student-athletes perform both in the classroom and on the court. The student-athlete graduation rate is higher than that of non-athletes, with 75% having a GPA of at least 3.0. Women’s Basketball players represent the dedication and talent that makes Stockton Athletics legendary.  

2019-20 Highlights

• Stockton improved by two wins over last season in head coach Devin Jefferson's second year at the helm. The squad relied on tough defense as evidenced by holding teams to 58.9 points per game (3rd in NJAC), producing a +3.2 rebound per game margin (3rd in NJAC) and blocking 4.1 shots per game (4th in NJAC).
• The Ospreys played a number of close games, with nine contests decided by seven points or less. Of the 10 wins that Stockton fashioned, five came in NJAC play. Eight first- or second-year players, five freshmen and three sophomores, made up most of the roster. All 11 players saw action in 14 or more contests.
• Emily Donzanti placed third in the NJAC in assists and steals. Lajerah Wright finished fifth in the conference in blocked shots and tied for ninth in field goal percentage. Hailee Porricelli was seventh in the NJAC in three-point field goal percentage and ninth in three-pointers while freshman Ionyonia Alves was ninth in rebounds.
